What Is The Best Time To Travel To US Virgin Islands

The best time to travel to the U.S. Virgin Islands is winter to spring. December through May is a great season to visit the USVI because of the pleasant weather and little rain.

Because of the little precipitation and moderate, but somewhat warmer, temperatures in June, it’s also one of the finest months to visit St. Thomas, St. Croix, and St. John.

Summer precipitation in St. John amounts to approximately 3.4 inches (86 mm) every month. The highs fluctuate between 89°F (31.6°C) and 90°F (32.6°C).

The USVI experiences its most rainfall in September, October, and November. In St. Croix, normal monthly precipitation increase to five inches (127 mm), but on St. Thomas, it rises to six inches (152 mm) and in St. John, it reaches 6.5 inches (165 mm) every month.

The average temperature of all three islands is 82°F (28°C), with highs of 89 to 90°F (31.6 to 32°C) in September and October. There could be storms in September and October.
